Pollination is a company that regenerate entire towns and cities by harnessing their existing strengths, and building on them. With that thought an identity was created that uses its existing assets to build from. In the case of Pollination it was the two O's - used to adapt and build different shapes.

A paradox is something that is and isn’t, something that does and doesn’t make sense. So with that thought, I set out to create something that at first glance reads paradox, but on closer inspection doesn’t - a paradox out of the word paradox (deep stuff). The result was the mark above.

Combining two people, logos or iconic images into one - Apple and the silhouette of Alfred Hitchcock that prefaces his films. The work was produced in 2006, posted to design inspiration website, Ffffound, in 2008 and then in late 2011, this happened. Interesting.
